    Quadratischer Entwurf mit abstrakter Komposition aus Bogensegmenten und geschwungenen Linien sowie einem schwarzen Kreuz. Ausgehend von anderen Bildkomposition Heinrich Stäublis stehen diese Formen in der Regel für die Erde (grüner Bogen), für die Sonne (gelber Bogen) und für den Regen (vertikale blaue Bänder) für Regen. Sie verbildlichen die Schöpfungsthematik.

    Es handelt sich um den Entwurf einer Gedenkscheibe für Johannes Hugenmatter, der von 1976 bis 1993 als Pfarrer in der katholischen Kirchgemeinde Muolen SG tätig war. Heinrich Stäubli gab dem Entwurf den Titel «die Gebete». Der Entwurf wurde 1997 als Glasmalerei realisiert und in die Fensterverglasung der Vorhalle der katholischen Kirche St. Josef in Muolen integriert.
