    Cette coupe fut créée à une période précoce de la Verrerie artistique (1930–1964). Les sources dont nous disposons sont des catalogues de la Verrerie de St-Prex. Cet objet n'apparaît cependant dans aucun d'eux. En revanche, la technique utilisée, le verre incolore sablé puis peint au pochoir et à l'aérographe, est proposée jusqu'en 1935.
    Par sa forme, cette coupe évoque une faïence de Paul Ami Bonifas (1893–1967), datée "vers 1935" (Lecoultre-Brejnik & Musée Ariana, 1997, 138, no 74).
