    Farbige Skizze für eine polygonale Betonverglasung aus schwarz eingefärbtem Beton mit eingesetzten Dallglasstücken in Weiss, Blau und Gelb und der Darstellung einer blühenden roten Rose. Die Betonskulptur ist auf einen Sockel aus braunem Holz gesetzt.

    Dieser sorgfältig ausgeführte Entwurf diente möglicherweise als Vorlage für einen Grabstein. Heinrich Stäubli gestaltete einige Grabsteine für Freunde und Nachbarn, die heute nachweislich auf dem Friedhof in Abtwil und Engelburg stehen. Geschickt integriert der Glasmaler dabei Dallglas und die Technik der Betonverglasung. Besonders an diesem Entwurf ist die Schwarzfärbung des Betons, wodurch die rote Rose farbig leuchtend zur Geltung kommt, wie auch die Kombination der skulpturalen Betonverglasung mit einem Holzsockel. Zwei weitere Entwürfe im künstlerischen Nachlass zeigen Variationen dieses Motivs; hier wird die Rose mit einem Sichelmond kombiniert.
