Laut seinem Schöpfer Fritz Weigner, weist “das Kreuzfenster mit den Senkrechten und Horizontalen, dargestellt auf dem leuchtend goldenen Himmelsgrund, [...] auf den Einzigen hin, der von oben her den geschlossenen Ring, die verschlossene Endlichkeit menschlichen Seins aufgebrochen und eine neue Beziehung in die Unendlichkeit Gottes ermöglicht hat” (Moosbrugger, 1986, S. 122).
