    Die in ein grünes Gewand mit violetter Toga gekleidete Heilige Caecilia mit Aureole und Leier in der Linken steht an einem mit Iris bewachsenen Ufer. Geschichtetes und strukturiertes Farb- und Opaleszentglas sorgen für eine nuancenreiche Darstellung der frühchristliche Märtyrerin und umgebenden Natur. Das im Vordergrund liegende Gewässer zeichnet sich durch seine bewegte Wasseroberfläche aus.

    Die auf ihre Reinheit anspielenden Iris erinnern an Werke Louis Comfort Tiffanys, wie sein um 1908 datierendes Magnolias and Irises, Tiffany Studios (Frank Memorial, Salem Fields Cemetery, Brooklyn, heute Metropolitan Museum of Art, Accession Number 1981.159).
