    Das kleine umbleite Glasstück im Zentrum der Scheibe neu ergänzt; zwei diagonal verlaufende Sprungbleie.

    Monolithscheibe aus farblosem Glas; Bemalung mit Schwarzlot, Silbergelb, Eisenrot sowie blauer Schmelzfarbe.

    History

    Research

    Hans Büehler, der nicht näher bekannte Stifter dieser Scheibe, stammte laut deren Inschrift aus Oberhausen bei Sigriswil am Thunersee.

    Die Rütlischwurszene ist wohl nach einem Entwurf der Murer-Werkstatt gestaltet. Motivisch vergleichbar ist ein Riss Josias Murers von 1574 in der Graphische Sammlung der ETH Zürich (Mappe 658) und die auf einem Entwurf von dessen Bruder Christoph beruhende Radierung "Ursprung der Eidgenossenschaft" von 1580 (Vignau-Wilberg 1982, Abb. 137).

    Vom unbekannten Glasmaler dieser Scheibe stammt auch das Glasgemälde des Hans Rebmann und der Barbara Müller von 1739 im Heimat- und Rebbaumuseum Spiez.
