    Research

    Franz David Wild (1708–1749), Sohn des Markwart und der Maria Elisabeth Lerber, war Notar und Gerichtsschreiber. Er heiratete 1737 Maria Fischer (1721–1786), die Tochter Samuels und der Maria Herport. Mit ihr hatte er vier Kinder (Kessel 2015).

    Dieses Glasgemälde und die im Bernischen Historischen Museum befindlichen Scheiben Wild von 1748 (BHM Bern, Inv. 4998), Willading von 1746 (BHM Bern, Inv. 4997) und Herzog von 1746 (BHM Bern, Inv. 4996) gehören wahrscheinlich zusammen und waren an denselben Ort gestiftet worden. Sie weisen alle Parallelen zu den von Samuel Küpfer stammenden Scheiben aus der Kirche Grafenried auf und sind somit diesem Glasmaler zuzuschreiben.
